A BUSY DAY

Larrabee State Park received a plague today celebrating its role as Washington's first State Park 102 years ago.  The pleasant event also celebrated the Larrabee family who donated the land for this first state park in 1915.

Two of the grand children of CX and Frances Larrabee were present for the festivities.  Breck Milton and Consuelo Larrabee.

It was a lovely spring morning in the park.  CX and Frances would have been proud.

then in the afternoon I got a little work done in the workshop.

the necks are both rough sawn and the groves for the sides cut.  This shows me checking that the groves are large enough.

Shirley am enjoying your blog, Brian. Question: How do you determine the width of the slot for the side into the neck? Is that a bandsaw blade width?
