THE BELLINGHAM UKULELE GROUP, B.U.G. had a big day today. Aaron Kiem and wife came to town and put on two workshops and a concert. Those that did not attend the workshops jammed for a couple of hours downstairs led by Wes Lewis and Anna, while several vendors including yours truly peddled their wares at the other end of the room
Here, BUG leader Gail McDonald introduces the keims to the crowd.
Here is the old peddler with his wares, a few ukes, strings, capos, MiSi pickups and a couple of used amps. The bass is not for sale, I played it in both jams.
This gal was fascinated with the bass and had fun playing it at the sales table. The guy in the checkered shirt in the background is Michael Flaherty, another Bellingham luthier who was set up at the neighboring table.
In the foreground is the Phil Jones Double Four amp A tiny 70 watt amp that does a great job with the bass. I power it with a little laptop battery, you can just see the black corner of it in the bottom of the picture.

There is Pat Madsen in the green BUG shirt with the MOJO Music uke tower in the background as a shopper picks the 8 string uke I am selling- He did not buy if you are interested.
