The first step is to position the bridge with a slight tilt for proper intonation. The position is fixed with small pieces of green tape.
At the nut end the guide is centered on the zero fret
Then the finish is scraped off with a razor blade so that glue will attach wood to wood
And finally the bridge is glued and clamped to the sound board with this homemade device.
The strings go on tomorrow after the glue has set.
