I VISITED BOUNTY MUSIC today, always a must when coming to Maui. If there is a music store that stocks more ukuleles I would surely be surprised. I asked a very pleasant clerk how many they had and she replied about five hundred. just look at these pictures, and they don't show them all. I played a couple, The highest price uke they had was a $1,400 Kamaka. I plucked it and a Kanelea. All koa. top, sides and bottom. Frankly I prefer cedar tops for rich and mellow tone. Really fun to just wander around looking at the incredible variety and the prices. most in the $200 tp $500 range. If you ever get to Maui don't miss it. You can also catch them on their website. I think they do a large internet business.
