A rare hybrid Spruce found only in a limited area in BritishColumbia and Alaska . Picea Lutzi
The tree grows between the lower elevation Sitka and the higher elevation Englemann or White Spruce and has gained the best attributes of both. Reputed to make superior instruments I have received several sets from Pacific Rim Tonewoods. Very excited to build with it.
