Everywhere you see a cluster of clamps there is a neck being glued up

Now they are glued and setting up.  Tomorrow I will saw them into rough shape on the band saw

It starts here. this is Honduran Mahogany cut and ready to be glued together to make necks.

Here are the banjo necks, laminated vertically with a slice of dark Australian blackwood that will show contrast on the neck.

The lip on the workbench makes a dandy place to clamp items being glued.  My long ago attempt at sculpture looks on in disgust at the invasion of her territory by all those clamps.
I also got all of the sides cut to shape today and thinned down to close to their final thickness.  Even got another application of French Polish on the Concerts.  Time to pour  myself a glass of relaxation and toast my progress.
