Do you remember Howard Hughes who built a huge amphibious airplane of wood called The Spruce Goose?
Well recently The Ukulele Site offered an all Spruce tenor they dubbed "The Spruce Goose".
I was intrigued and have decided to build my own Spruce Goose
Here are the Spruce parts, Sides and back of Sitka Spruce, Soundboard of Englemann. and a neck of tiger striped Maple.
I had never bent Spruce previously but find it quite bendable with no spring back.
And today the Spruce Goose received its back. The Spruce Goose is boxed.
