PROGRESS ON TWO UKES.

The fretboard is on Delrene's Kasha Tenor and looking good with its gold frets.

And now I am glueing down the plate on the peg head.

While that glue was setting up, I began to glue down the several dozen tone bars on the baritone I am building.  This is another Sitka Spruce top with some pretty nice "bear claw" markings.

Yes I know, I could do them all at once in the "Go-bar" but clamping them like this is very effective and i am in no rush.  Notice the red plastic straw with the taper cut in the end.  It is a wonderful tool for removing glue squeeze-out.

And here is the plate on the peg head.  Needs a little more shaping but it will be handsome when finished.  this is another of my signature spalted maple peg heads.  Love this highly figured wood made even more beautiful with the spalting.
