Now all three tenors are boxed up and this morning I trimmed off the edges with the router. All instruments are looking good.
This is the Cocobolo tenor being held in this clamping device while I am routing around the edges trimming them flush.
Then the ukulele is turned over and the top edge is trimmed. Opps, I see I have a smudge on that top. It will sand out later, but I am reminded to put a coat of dilute shellac over all the tops. It prevents stains and helps to prevent tear out when the grooves for the bindings are cut.
