BAD IDEA, strings attached to a glued on bridge is poor construction

Here's the result,  

string tension and glue failure due to temperature or age tear the bridge off damaging the soundboard.  

It is even worse when the soundboard is laminate.  
​ Quality ukes insert strings through holes in the bridge, the soundboard and an interior hardwood patch.  The knotted string pulls against the patch, not the bridge.
