This marvelous Cedar grew on the slopes surrounding Lake Whatcom for an estimated 1,400 years before it was felled about 100 years ago to become the floating walkway for the old Larson Mill log boom. I have had the wood for 50 years using it for many purposes, none better than ukulele soundboards. It still lives-in music
